The Bendir Dale region lies in the middle of the island. The major settlement is Bendir, grown out of the original Fort Bendir. For a time it was known as Burrowhome, but has taken on it's traditional name once more. Founded by the Halfling people many years ago, many Gnomes now also live there, and some Dwarves.
