As many are aware, the renegade qu'ellar of Claddath has made a pact with the powers of Baator, the devilkin Baatezu whose very existence is devoted to the Blood War. Sworn enemies of malla Lloth and the Abyss, in this act the heresy of the Claddath is revealed in all its depth.

The Claddath have occupied the ruins of Elg'Nizrul, abandoned by the Ilythiiri in the distant past, and slaughtered the blessed spiders living there. Deep in the ruins lies a gate, guarded by the most powerful of the baatezu brought through it, and it is through this gate that the forces of Hell are reinforced.

Furthermore, emissaries of Baator have approached several of Udos, attempting to turn the faithful to their side by coercion or bribery. The forces of Order may yet gain a foothold in Udos if our vigilance were to drop; it must naut.

Sorcere can focus its efforts on sealing the gate permanently, or on learning how to open it at will, permitting us to carry the fight to Baator itself. We await, as ever, the direction of Lloth's Chosen in this matter.
